Manifesting During Tough Times Can Be Difficult

Manifesting during tough times becomes simple when you understand how powerful beliefs are. I believe our beliefs shape our reality.

This isn't something I simply believe because I've read about it and decided it's how I'd like my life to be. I believe in it because it has truly been my reality more times than I can count. What you believe will become your reality – good or bad. It's up to you to decide what kind of outcome you want. We are truly responsible for creating our own lives.

Lots of Law of Attraction people say it's essential for you to have a “rainbow and unicorns” kind of mindset in place before you'll manifest anything you want. I disagree with that. Here's why.

In today's world, you'll be hard-pressed to find people who can say with honesty that they are completely happy with the way things are going in their lives all the time. So many people are overwhelmed by life's fast pace, finances, technology and keeping up with all of their many obligations.

Law of Attraction gurus say that in order to manifest good things, you must first maintain a positive, happy mindset all the time. While this would be nice, and it's something I think is possible for some, it's unlikely to be maintained by most.

The average person who’ll try to keep up with this mindset all the time won't succeed just because of the nature of everyday life and our inability to have complete control over outside variables. Unless you’ve already done a lot of personal development work and are very self-aware, you might just end up feeling frustrated, defeated and be convinced that the Law of Attraction just doesn't work (or at least not for you).

It's All About How You Want to Feel

I don't think you do have to be truly happy in your current situation. I think what you have to have is a solid BELIEF that you know, without any reservation, how you want to FEEL.

Manifesting what you want isn't about being ridiculously happy all the time, it's about owning how you want to FEEL and taking a few minutes each day to visualize how it would feel to have the life of your dreams.

Now it's not that I don't want people to be happy in their lives. I wish everyone could be happy all the time. The world would be a much better place. I just don't think it's doable for everyone all the time.

I’ve manifested some really incredible things including amazing opportunities to improve my life, money and supportive, loving people just at the time I needed them most. I've done this when I was feeling less than happy in situations that seemed miserable and hopeless at the time.

I'm going to share with you exactly how I do this.

6 Steps to Manifesting During Tough Times…

Step 1 – Set a Clear Intention – Knowing exactly what you want and not wavering on it is key in getting this to work for you. It's like being at a restaurant, you only make your order once. You wouldn't tell your server multiple times that you'd like to change your order, would you? Know what you want and stick with it. Then let the Universe and time do their things.

Your work is simply to determine what you want. The most valuable skill that you could ever develop is the skill of directing your thoughts toward what you want – to be adept at quickly evaluating all situations and then quickly coming to the conclusion of what you most want – and then giving your undivided attention to that.

Step 2 – Use Creative Visualization – Every day, no matter what, I sit quietly and visualize exactly what I want. This could be for several minutes or up to an hour or more. I imagine, in great detail, how it would be for this manifestation to become reality. I watch myself as an outsider looking in as though I already have and am fully enjoying the thing or situation I want to manifest. Most importantly, I really FEEL the situation as if I already know exactly what it would be like. If you pretend it's all true, it will bring you enormous results.

Step 3 – Reality Seems to Bend – Don't be concerned with the path or the HOW of your manifestation will come to be. For me, and many others, things usually play out in a completely unexpected way. Don't try to figure it out, worry about it or make a plan of any kind. There's no reason to be attached to the outcome because you know it's yours already.

Step 4 – Have Unshakable Faith – The only thing you need to do is TRUST (have complete faith) that the end goal will come to you. Keep your eye on the prize.

Step 5 – Question Your Beliefs – Your unconscious beliefs can have a great impact on how you perceive the world around you. Pay attention to how your beliefs make you feel. Do they make you feel smaller or give you a less than hopeful view of the world? Your experiences in life are shaped by what you expect; what you expect comes from your beliefs. These negative beliefs can sabotage what you're experiencing in your life if you don't change them. Luckily, you have full control to shape and mold your beliefs to better serve you. You can create new realities by focusing on and believing in them.

Step 6 – Take Inspired Action – Even though you won't be focusing on the HOW you still need to take action. Let your intuition guide you and take “baby steps”every day. So for example, if you wanted to start your own restaurant, you could do something as simple of coming up with a name for the restaurant or simply browsing for places to rent or buy (even if you don't yet have the money to do so). These “baby steps” show the Universe you have an intention and then things start falling into place.
